Meet Kristin Conlon, PsyD
Hi, there! I’m Dr. Conlon, founder of Base Camp Psychological Services. I earned my doctorate in 2012 and am currently licensed as a psychologist in Illinois and Pennsylvania. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and active—I don’t just sit back and listen. I ask thoughtful questions, offer clear observations, and gently challenge unhelpful patterns when it supports your growth. I believe therapy works best when it feels steady, purposeful, and collaborative—when there’s enough trust in the room to explore honestly and build meaningful change over time.
My work is primarily rooted in psychodynamic theory, helping clients uncover and understand the deeper roots of long-standing patterns in thinking and behavior. When those patterns become clearer, it can create more room for freedom, better decisions, and a more balanced way of moving through the world. In certain circumstances, I also draw on my training in cognitive behavioral therapy, some of which I received during my postdoctoral rotation at the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Research Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Curious about our name?
